MRM Pinterest Strategy and Management
Pinterest…
You’ve probably heard of Pinterest.
Isn’t Pinterest just for nice ideas on how to redecorate your bedroom or inspiration for a tack room makeover?
If you thought this, you’re not alone.
But you’re missing a carrot.
Pinterest is a phenomenal tool to help grow your business and get found online by more of your ideal clients.
Pinterest has been around for over a decade, and in that time has grown from modest roots as an image-sharing social media platform, to the multi-multi-million users (over 553-million to be more precise) platform with its focus firmly on online searches, eCommerce and sales.
A few mind-boggling stats for you:
· Users on Pinterest are 3 x more likely to click over to a brand’s website than from any other social media platform
o Do you want more traffic and conversions to your website? Ok, so Pinterest can do that for you. Tick.
· Pinterest ads are 2.3x cheaper per conversion than any other social media ads
o Ok, so not only are users more likely to click through to your website, but your Pinterest ad will cost you 2.3 x less when they do. You like saving money on advertising? Tick.
· 82% of regular users say they’ve bought products based on just the brand’s content on Pinterest
o Being a new face on Pinterest doesn’t matter, what does is, well…being on there! And, 98% of users have said they’ve tried something new that they’ve come across on the platform. So, should you be using Pinterest to market your products? Yes!
· More than 2-billion searches are carried out on Pinterest every month
o This is my personal favourite statistic, and the reason you will hear me refer to Pinterest as ‘Google’s little brother’. Smaller, yes, but snapping at his heels!
Use it in your social media strategy and management and the results will make you happier than a pony in an unguarded feed room.
With so many changing rules and algorithms; what to say, when to post, what image to create, you may be muttering under your breath, “I haven’t got the time or brainpower to learn another social media platform”.
Make it easy on yourself and hand over the reins to someone who can tame the Pinterest beast.
